Russia-Africa Summit analysis
President Cyril Ramaphosa has characterised his visit to the Russia-Africa Summit last week as a meaningful engagement that exceeded his expectations.
Ramaphosa also held a bilateral meeting with his Russian counterpart President Vladimir Putin, focusing on issues of common interest.
The Russian president told the gathering of more than forty heads of state, that Trade with African nations had expanded, growing by almost 20% in the last seven years.
