The future of peace-keeping in Africa has been an important issue on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York this week. It’s estimated that half of all peacekeeping missions are based in Africa and provide the UN with some of its greatest challenges.
Our Defence and Military Veterans Minister, Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula is in New York and joins our correspondent, Sherwin Bryce-Pease, at our UN bureau.
