Africa was quietly putting together a free trade agreement that spans the continent in an effort to revitalize Intra-African Trade, as well as strengthen African Trade with the international community.
Africa Continental Free Trade Agreement (ACFTA) came to effect on Thursday, May 30th 2019, after clearing a key procedural huddle and been ratified by the parliaments of 24 African countries.
